Well gutted is not the word,

Today I have re-homed my sailfin she has become very aggressive towards other fish in my tank but more aggressive towards my lion fish, and he was my dream fish so had to make a choice before one or more ending up ill, injured or even worse dead.

She was a beautiful fish and always hurts me to have to get rid but it's just the way of life.

Let's here about your gut wrenching moments when you had to give up a fish.

What a shame. They're stunning fish. How long did you have it?

Best part of two years but she has gone to a better tank for her. I would have kept as getting a bigger tank over the next few months but could not take the risk and did not want to keep her in the sump for a long time so better let your child go rather than letting them get hurt or hurting something else

Right decision. Their welfare should come first.
