Problem with the suction cup ones you stick to the glass is as you have found out they don't stay stuck to the glass forever , you have a couple of options,
Super glue the suction cup to the glass but then that's it ,
The other option is live rock to stick them on or feature rocks .
Or you can buy frag stands with a magnetic fixing ,

I saw on ebay that AllPond have frag racks with those twist-on suckers.  Haven't tried them myself (i've got a reef geeks one too).  I was thinking of just swapping the suckers on mine for some better ones like the soft eheim ones (if the fit - haven't tried yet).

To be honest Ive ordered some more suckers to try, along with ordering a magnetic frag rack from reef geeks last night.

There are some which have little arms which hang over the edge of your tank too - a few people are 3D printing those

He sells 3D printed magnetic ones. I have one and prefer it over one with suction cups
