You know I never give it a thought or at least i never did untill it was pointed out to me, i spend a lot of time lookin up bitches fannys  and you just dont want the details of the stud work  .

That was Temminki  our Lamma Island Shar Pei  . The Chinese ones are a bit different to the USA UK ones. Like Akita`s being split into Akita and Great Japanese Dog

Just for Carl lol, and so it wont slut up any threads, Garry in his wisdom and against my better judgement decided to ride the bike to work in the summer months.

One morning I hear him come back in the the house and he (im still in bed and was asleep)  announced "Ive trashed the bike love" I can see hes standing there and got back Ok so its not that bad, so Im out of bed in a flash dressed and out to view the damage .

Tank , gear pedal, foot and hand grips  various other things that get shagged when you skid along the road at 60mph because a frackin Pigeon has flown into yer chest .

Do I rant ? no , we go upstairs and order the new parts , I am of course as gutted as Garry because I love that bike .

I have forbidden him to ride it to work  and thats as far as it goes, a wise move I think as the whole county is over run with deer of all sorts of types from Sika upwards . At that time of the morning and night when he comes and goes thier worse than in the daytime.

I will admit to the odd FFS deep sigh  shake head and walk away...

Poor baby you can see the damage or some of it in the pictures.

One thing I got the custom paint job out of it..drawn and painted by me sprayed by some one else .

Seems he was lucky. Why not let him ride though? Surely he's had his nugget of bad luck for the year?  :lipsrsealed:

He was lucky as was the bike....both could've been far worse!

TBH that isn't a ranting situation Carol as I've also been there and done that on several occasions

I never stop him riding , I havent got the right .But this was agreed between us both that it would be more sensible not to ride it in the early morning when when Deer and Birds  are more of a hazard. Birds sit on the tarmac to warm up then fly away too late and too dozy , plus this was on a corner, or more acuratly round a bend.

To say he had his share of bad luck is tempting fate  , you can have 3 spills in as many months and none for years .

We had a dog run out in front of us from a hedge as we were gong round a bend , it went for the front wheel and the next thing i remember I was lying in the middle of the road and the bike a bit further on , with Garry walking towards me , ME note not the bike , which is quite something .  My ribs hurt like hell , my shoulder and an ankle  , worst thing was it ripped off one of the rear pegs so I had to ride home balanced on the stub that was left , dog dissapeared totaly....

I had to look at my injurys from the funny side as it was almost impossible to get my knickers up or down  :undecided:  :O  I couldnt get my arm above my shoulder for several months , Garry was fine however , but he says i went sailing over the top of him  :O and got punched into the road , I know i landed on my front because I had a mobile phone shaped bruise on my ribs but i woke up on my back    :undecided:

Longest ride home ive ever had lol...

Nope as a biker you learn Mike never to tempt fate  The Gods will only hand out so much luck   :O

That's why I'll never be a biker. Far too vulnerable, even if yourself as a rider are totally safe, sensible and competent...

Well Garry lives it and breathes it , you get chaps and ladies who are enthusiasts , who ride at weekends and nice days , and everyone now calls anyone who rides a bike a biker , which I do resent, I used to have my own bike for years but I never was a biker .

Garry only got a car licence when he was 36 just before i met him , he used to ride up Welsh mountainsides  to go do stuff for Welsh Water on a frackin Chopper  :O hard tail 16 over springers  . I do question his sanity at times , but thats what he is .

We are all different its what makes life interesting
