Yeah I can report that this popcorn has a bacon smell to it when cooking/popping, that's where it ends. It's totally flavourless. I normally have salted popcorn, rather than sweet, so I ended up salting it myself and just had salted popcorn instead. It's not bacon, other than a smell of it when it's cooking. :(

Taxi drivers...

We know it all

Except how to drive within the limits of the road! Ohhh.

FYI that's more about my local taxi drivers (twats, hate them all) than taxi drivers in general, my dad used to cabbie when we lived in Northolt.

Tbh, we are awful in general. I always make a joke with customers when a cabbie does something silly.
I shout "bloody taxi drivers!!" And we have a chuckle.

In my area you have to resit your driving test to become a taxi driver. I've no idea how some drivers passed!

LOL, the cabbies in my area (small town), speed at 50+ through 30 MPH, cut corners, won't indicate untill the last minute causing people to slam on or miss their chance to get out of a junction, push through gaps that don't exist, also pull out on you from junctions, if they don't do that, they'll fly into a junction, slamming on last minute, and then will edge the car forwards like they're gonna pull out on you (which in most cases produces the knee jerk reaction to speed up) just to get you to speed up and pass the junction. in other towns\cities cabbies are great.

Fingers crossed you don't live in my town....  :undecided:

That's not on though. Wouldn't say they are that bad around here.
The police are very far with us, they step in when required but equally let us get on with our jobs. Clearing all the people from the town centre when the club kicks out.

I think the main issue arrives from the fact that the quicker we get around, the more we earn. That's bound to introduce some "creative" driving.

For me, I generally obey the limits and restrictions around town, and then make up the time on rurual roads. Its less risky that way as the last thing anyone wants to do is hit a drunk who has wondered into the road. (That happens alot! Amazing how a couple of drinks makes people follow the white lines!)

Yea, they're a menace, but it's the nature of the job as you said, but they are beyond, and when I don't yeild to em, and they have to slow down or even stop (normal procedure if an obstruction is in the side of the carriageway being travelled on) they don't like it, and try to stitch you another time if they can, I'm sure I'm infamous amongst the cabbies in Ammanford.
I might be back....
