Mrs has just taken the stupid dog to the vets as he'd decided to eat a snack pack of raisins.....we've worked it out that he'd ingested about 10g of raisins!

Even though they are really toxic to dogs some can actually overcome the toxicity of them yet others (Meaning 99%) can have renal failure after just one single raisin.

So I'm now £110 down for a drug that makes him puke....apparently it is expensive, as the drug is morphine based (Got a mate that's a vet) . So what with him eating 16 cigarettes and getting nicotine poisoning when he was less than a year old and costing just short of £500 for that, he's not a cheap dog!

Rant over for now!

Christ I didn't even know Raisins are in any way bad for dogs...  :undecided:

I really need to pay more attention to creatures living above sea level.  :O

(ps. I did think I was reading a post by Carol until you said you feel like carol then I looked up and it wasn't her avatar  )

First off  im glad the dogs fine, i never knew till a few years ago that raisins were poisonous to dogs.  Id read the B>A>R>F book bones and raw food  feeding and i never remembered reading that tho i remember aubergenes advocadoes etc were poisonous along with  dark chocolate.

Loki is a prime candidate for swallowing things that are not realy kosher , silly bugger comes in with snails , root balls , big twigs half a small tree....lumps of concrete ,where the fck he finds that i dont know

Console yourself Carl he didnt twist his testicles like Zen that was over a grand in the end

You know this size thing has appeared again and its after i click on a smiley its like a remnant  of code ive accidentaly executed? (talking BS again)

Spitz type dogs can be very trying as thier very  slightly less domesticated than the average mutt .

No I am not going to rant today, not even over the abandoned truck in the drive most likely leaking diesel that was sposed to be fixed Tuesday or the fact hes run off with my Rav and not even bothered to lock the front door after him...no i am not gonna rant ive just lost the will to live...

You know I was born a red head so it might  explain my  ranting.

End of it all tho is Carl doggie is good , and im pleased to hear that

No idea what you're doing to trigger this, but next to that editor vs plain text switch button (the cursor in red brackets) there's a Big "A", little "a" icon? If you select all of your post, (using CTRL + A) then click that, it'll strip out all formatting, like font size, colours, etc. It'll leave smilies as they're not formatting.  :glad:
