How are you all coping with Lockdown stuff? Out in the wilds of Lincolnshire its very easy to walk up deserted lanes. We have everything delivered and want for nothing. It is however still frustrating as my Garry is extremely clinically vulnerable ,I wont chance going anywhere. A mates wife got taken into hospital with it recently so its become real.

It was quite a novelty the way the local council looked after us if we had needed it ,we had free food parcels ,which I cancelled as we managed to get supermarket slots because of Garry.

Too cold to go out on Sooty (Trike) ,Ive become a wuss in my old age lol...I am reading a biography on Saladin ,who knows I might absorb some culture and education but I doubt my spelling will improve.

Heres wishing all of you well and take care x

Pretty fed up of 8hr+ video call meetings every day! :'( Always thought i was a bit of an anti-social devil but turns out i am really missing 'proper' human interaction! (Apart from the family obviously!)

Getting very fed up with working from home (275 days and counting...). Miss interaction with colleagues. Via webex/teams etc is not the same and spontaneity isn’t there as you have to plan it all.

But family is healthy, we both still have jobs and is busy. Kids at school, so really can’t complain

Redundancy  is a nightmare, happened too many times in our past. I think we are lucky in as much as from May this year Garry got a pension, after 28 weeks sick then on to the other thing which was even less money its a relief .
I feel so very sorry for those loseing their homes.
I am looking forward to the 21/2nd December when the year turns and I can think of spring.

We're all okay at the moment thanks! Little Nellie has just had basically a bad cold. I think it's going round her whole school at the moment,  inevitable really. You can't stop 5 year olds from playing etc.

Can't wait for this crap to be done with.

At least with multiple vaccines becoming available, we should get more protection

Don’t have much sympathy for anti vaxxers, though.

I read the comments in a few of the national papers, you would not believe the nonsense that the anti vaxxers trott out. Nothing is 100% risk free or effective . But to claim that it has a chip in it that tracks you whilst furiously typing that out on their iPhones....lmao ...we are tracked everywhere in every way, includeing phones.

I dont like medicines  ,but since the better half has been diagnosed with stage 4 COPD and lost his Spleen in the bike accident ,both vaccines and modern medicines keep him alive . So Ive learnt to be less mistrustful.

Well, that's Christmas cancelled for us in the home counties then!

We're currently at 950/100K so not exactly unexpected.

I know, but really did it need 3 announcements in a week? Last week I was in tier 2 then was told we narrowly missed going to 3 and two days later we do go to 3, then within 24 hr of being in 3 we will be in 4

At least we are all still safe and I’m just annoyed with the handling of it.

I share your pain. My daughter (10) had a meltdown earlier in the week when we moved to three and we and our friends decided meeting for Christmas would not be wise...

We're much the same.  This feels like a punch to the gut to be honest.

I know it's necessary,  but fuck!
