Very nice of you to say, but I'd never want to charge a fee. I want any money received to be donated, whether it's a pound or ten. PayPal does have a recurring option that you can choose when donating. I only ever want to reduce or eliminate the cost to me anyway.

Mike one suggestion could be to make the donate button a little more apparent maybe by moving it up near the home page header.
Whilst I'm sure we all appreciate this site is free to us, some may not realise you are funding it yourself without sponsorship from suppliers in order to maintain an unique and unbiased site. It's refreshing to be able to express honest opinions without being censored as on most other forums.

Yes, that's an option. The site is in dire need of some real work now, but my laptop is broken.  :heyyy:

When I can dedicate some time to getting the issues resolved, I'll consider a slight layout tweak too.

Also, how does one go about setting up a regular donation through Paypal? I can't see an option for it anywhere.

When you think about it,a subscription to a magazine is about 30 quid a year possibly more as its years since I did it. Its how you hopefully keep up with new products and trends, but its not interactive.
Some one if yer lucky tests something ,but how unbiased is it realy? I mean who last took the tester out to dinner and gave him a nice brown envelope? Yeah OK im cynical.
So this does provide a very real insight into few products trends etc .

HK is being sent some stuff from the new sponsor but as there's no sponsorship fee there's no obligation for him to say it's good if it's not.

I think it's better that the forum funds itself, rather than funded by sponsors. Some sponsors do donate, but they're already very well respected by the community so they're not trying to buy any favouritism.

Trust me, I'm always getting into trouble for giving my honest opinion to people who actually do pay me, so I'll definitely not be breaking with tradition for someone who doesn't  lol

As most of you know. I'm not big on lotions and potions, so depending on what gets sent, I may well pass some stuff on for others to review.  I've no idea what's coming.

I think the biggest selling point about this forum is that you can recommend anything, post links to anything, and give honest opinions without any comeback.  It serves for much better info for hobbyists, and suppliers that aren't afraid of honest feedback.
