Evening all.

We've all been there, starting on a project and 'oh shit what about xyz'.  And we need fast help........

I've been there a few times recently and need help quick, but the responses on here can be slow in coming, not in term of hours, but days or weeks....... :o

Does a chatroom exist on here where online members can pose a question that the online users can see and react upon should they so desire?.. im sure i'm not the only one who encounters and issues and needs urgent help and advice.. Fast-tracking this would be fantastic!

Thoughts?

Hi mate, it's not a bad idea, it's just i'm not sure we have enough members to have somebody online the whole time!

Personally if I need an urgent answer I'll stick the question up on Reef2Reef.

Yeah, it seems there's few around when you need some help.  I'll jump over there and see if there is more activity. Thanks again!

Well don't leave us for good, this forum is a lot friendlier IMHO!  ;)

I’m also on ultimate reef which is UK based. Replies are quicker, but agree that reefbase is much friendlier advice and less opinionated…

Friendliness has always been what ReefBase is and was about. That’s why I created it. It was because on an old forum that doesn’t exist now there was always arguments and bitterness. It took the fun out of wanting to talk about our hobby. That’s why we’ve the silly logo and colours, background and blue emojis. If you’re using Tapatalk you might not have seen much of that.

It has gotten quieter here in the last few years as more and more people head towards Facebook groups instead. A chat room wouldn’t be any faster than posting a thread, and the only other thing I can think of similar would be a ReefBase WhatsApp group, but I think that’d then just be the death of the forum completely.
