You have taverham aquatics in taverham garden centre they reasonably priced and generally always have a decent stock

Thing with Maidenhead aquatics is some of their shops are not to bad ,I've been in a couple myself , but they don't seem to have a great stock ,found them more of a equipment shop and cater more for the tropical than the marine side.and I agree they do seem to be a bit overpriced, could say that about many Lfs though.best thing is to shop around until you find one reasonable.i used to travel 18 miles each way to the one I used just because they were fair, helpful, and tanks were immaculate and had a good selection of coral anemone and fish.if they didn't have it they would ask their suppliers if they could get it ,good luck finding somewhere ,

Agree with above re Maidenhead not my first choice, fairly far down if I’m honest..

I use to mainly go Crews Hill but last time I went the majority of stores had gone...

Now mainly go to Manor Koi in Basildon, other decent one in area is E Marine

Creation Aquatics is the place for secondhand spare parts!! Not livestock personal preference that’s all!!

Also Swallows at Rayleigh and coral passion.

Crews hill at Enfield just of m25 ,they have quite a few places there plus you can have a pub lunch, lol,or go into the cafes for lunch and a cuppa.theres a burger bar there aswell if you fancy that, not sure exactly where you are but if you fancy a couple of hours going out and browsing that's not a bad place to start and reasonably priced.

Wild woods still there, not bad it's ok,Springfield nurseries have one they're ok ,there is a Maidenhead aquatics there but only good thing about that one is the cafe, lol they're all crews hill ,think there is another one there ,waterworld used to be there but has closed down now,Hertford has a couple ,amwell at thornwood not bad, there was a good one on the a414 Hatfield not sure if that's still going,
What's the one at Basildon like not been there yet ,heard it's ok .

Amwells in Epping was good!! Ain’t been for a couple of years!

Last time I went Crews Hill was just as Waterworld was closing so been a while ..

Manor Koi is my favourite, decent selection of fish and coral fairly priced, good staff as well

E Marine is a decent little set up, plenty of designer clowns and coral.

Creation Aquatics is great for second hand bits, cheap filters RO units, pumps lights etc.. fair selection of fish as well.

Swallows is average in my opinion, similar to Maidenhead I prefer independent shops in preference to chain stores.

Never brought anything in Coral Passion but nice little set up

If Crews Hill is your normal place to go try out Basildon they all within 15 minutes or so of each other!
