Common Name: Copepods
Scientific ID: Copepods
Good/Bad: Good

Description
Copepods are tiny crustaceans that normally come in liverock, and will breed in your tank.  They make excellent clean up crew, and live food.  Many people breed them to feed Mandarins and other picky eaters (they're one of the most nutritious foods you can give your fish and corals.
They're often the first life seen when setting up a tank, noticed when the first population explosion happens, and people see thousands of tiny white 'lice' on the glass first thing in the morning, or around lights out.
