The set-up has been running fine(and silent) for the past couple of years (odd blip which was easily sortes). Last week the horrific gurgling started. I did the usual reaets (soal and clean pump, reset flow etc) bit this time it is not properly settling down. The gurgling has gone but have now got noisy outlet into sump (not the first time but previously resolved - tried adding a video but failed!)

I have tried all my normal tricks - any one got any ideas?

Cheers

It’s worth installing a gate valve rather than the standard Red Sea one
I do wonder how much stuff gets in the valves but you can’t easily clean unless you want to take the valve off. Worth fully opening and closing if something is blocking it?

Have you popped the cover off and cleaned it?  Mine does this when small snails get stuck in it.  It's just 4 allen key bolts under the rubber caps.
