Everything ticking along nicely at the moment, I am stirring the sandbed daily so that i can burn through the Diatoms algae quickly, almost have none left now which is reassuring.

Here's some Fish Pics

Had to do some Coral Care this morning on the Lobophyllia's. As I have two Sand Dwelling Wrasses (Yellow and Leopard) as well as Two Red Headed Gobies (which act like Scooter Blennies along the bottom) my Lobo's every morning were covered in sand and not happy. So some raised Tables were hastily constructed

Coral Frag Plates are from Jbsmarines

Thats better

I need to do the same for my Trumpet and Fox Corals

Thanks:

Well the Tuxedo is causing havoc on my macros. Moved my Red Bamboo as I love this stuff. The rest Stig was wearing till I took it back. Oh and it likes taking snails and hermits for a walk around the tank

Thanks:

Mate the Tuxedo is my favourite, but it never fits in with the grand plan for the tank. It has its own vision.
Example I put this plant to grow up the internal filter for a more natural look.
I can’t find my tuxedo at the moment he’s a master of disguise.

I feel your pain! I wake up to my frag plugs in the sand every morning  :( Hermits are an absolute pain too.

They sure are, I've been making temporary frag racks out of suction cups and eggcrate so that I dont have to keep my frags in the sand.
I plan on a large re scape in the new year so this'll tick along quietly until then I think

Got a new automatic feeder for the Christmas break so have that running at the minute, seems to be working okay (not dumped the full 14 days worth in the tank like my last one did)

Thanks:

Well I didn't actually get back to work until today. The tank looks good, a fair bit of effort to reduce the film algae on the glass. I notice that I now have patches of Coralline Algae on my glass as well as rocks and back wall. Additionally my Blenny is happy with the amount of Pineapple sponges that have popped up in the tank. I ordered some more dry rock back in October that I have been curing since it arrived. Will start to add more of this shortly and looking at a rescape sometime soon.

Well, I have decided that with tomorrow being payday I am going to start making my final scape in this tank. I have all the containers and everything assembled today so that I can do the rescape tomorrow

Cleared by 7pm. Was trapped in the office due to a crash outside, police closed the road. Gave me a chance to watch the fishes settle back in
