Hi all,

Been a while, basically Covid has really done a number on me, I was not allowed to fly into Germany without receiving a fit to fly notice, i wasnt able to get one as the rules changed as soon as i got my negative result as now any people entering the Country need to have at least one of the Pfeifer injections and to be honest i am not prepared to pay for that. So whats a guy to do?

Well if it is me, call my old boss and see if they have filled my position? They had but the person quit due to stress within a matter of weeks  lol. So back in my old job with a small pay rise.  I am i'm sure like most of you working from home at the minute, so while i was bored I had a look on facebook and found a bargain, a used, slightly dinged up TMC Signature 45Cm Cube, with sump and cabinet.

Why not I thought? Why not?

So when it arrived, I got a surprise of half a bag of Caribsea Fiji Pink Sand, A bunch of dry rock and barnacles, eggcrate, DD Jump Guard Lid, a SW8 Jebao Wavemaker, Inkbird (with wrong probe) and plumbing. Just needs a small amount of hose, return pump, ato pump, heater and light.

So obviously I have been playing around with an old school rockwall type scape, need a bit more rock, pond foam, contact cement etc but reckon I can get this going in next to no time

Wilkommen. (I hope that's right, the Doris being a German teacher would probably take issue)
It is indeed a decent deal, and I'm guessing you couldn't wait to get back in. Watching this with interest.

Thanks:

thanks all, planning on going slowly with this one. Picking up bits as I go and for as cheap as possible. I did find some spares that i hid away in my old office today so need some 40mm hosing, a light hanging kit and a light bracket.

plus some other bits and bobs that i plan on sticking up for sale on Facebook/ebay/gumtree/here to get some funds going.

I'm getting confused.

I'm back in the UK. I'm in the little cottage that I actually own now (instead of renting it out)
I even updated my location and everything on here!!

Also seen that a couple new/rebranded stores have opened up in Leeds and Bradford so can have a nice selection of fish and corals.
Best thing is one of them deals 100% in NSW and i'm in the delivery range

I plan on playing with my selection of lights this evening when i get home to see what i want to run on this thing. Kessil A80/ PAR38 Bulbs/ Chinese Black Box

@Animal nice looking pair you have there.

I am currently undecided as to what the end goals are for the tank, most likely will go the typical pair of clowns, blenny route plus CUC.

I am very tempted to try and start a NPS tank and run the A80 on low for it, but sourcing the corals will be an issue.

Still a way off that currently
