Many people replace the Red Sea valve for a gate valve to get better fine control over water thru overflow.
Haven’t done it myself yet, but bought the v3 sump and will replace the valve as part of that project

Nice, I wish I had the newer sump it seems better laid out for my refugium, at the moment everything just gets caked in crap cuz the light spreads all over the tank but it does it’s job. Where about a are u in the world? If ya anywhere in or near Cheshire area could always sort ya some frags of bits out when you wanna start adding some new bits

Yes i think all the new red seas come with the v3 sump.

Looking nice mate, how longs it been up and running? I’m really annoyed with my Red Sea reefer. It’s the noisiest bloody thing I’ve ever heard. Quite over flow my ass

I have had my reefer 350 one week now and love it. it told about 1 hour to get the flow right but now I can not hear it

Its one of the macro algae's from www.livealgae.co.uk, think it was Cryptonemia Crenulata
