Just noticed you're in Essex too, Swallows?

Not a great fan of Swallows it wasn’t them though!!

Il give the previous place benefit of doubt and won’t name them they said they had an issue with their membrane, needless to say I never returned!! In fairness Marine was not there area of strength so I should have known better!!

A1 can I ask you mate what 4 stage ro system are you using? Thanks

It’s something similar to this

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-Stage-Reverse-Osmosis-RO-Filter-Unit-with-DI-Aquatic-Fish-75-100-200-GPD/183906118987?hash=item2ad1a8ad4b:m:mqifa2s_Bm6aoQ5JEjAaR2w

I brought It second hand for a tenner changed the DI Resin and the pre filters and it works perfect

Yeah there relatively cheap, and if looked after will last...

It’s a basic system but it fits my requirements I maybe use it twice a month doing 75L at a time

When my LFS manager was not working the store used to take the water out the display tanks.....Every display needed a tang but didn't have one. Never purchased on those days

Hey guys just been catching up on the thread. This build sounds amazing I can’t wait to see some pics and updates as it progresses. If you are considering your own ro di system and are worried about the water loss/wastage I could always put a booster pump on. I didn’t this about 6 months ago and not only has it more than halved the wastage it’s also prolonged the life of all the filters having it forced through with a bit more consistent water pressure. A game changer for me as I am on a water meter as well and it hasn’t gone up by much at all. Far less than buying all the gear and making my own anyway. And my back feels better as I ain’t lifting all these heavy buckets all the time

Just a quick update. The tank was set up on Tuesday and the LFS owner and I are finishing it later.

Here’s the pics

The bottle of Dr Tims went in last night as it took days for the water to get to temperature. So the cycling has begun
