They're lovely too.  I've always wanted an Emperor.  They're my favourite of all of them.  Since I lost most of my LPS, I thought I'd change it up and go for softies and this stunner.

Moved the angel from the QT to DT tonight.  It was just after lights out, so most fish were settled in for the night.  Fingers crossed, but no aggression so far

My Jecod crossflow has been creating bubbles (definatley not from sucking air down from the surface), and the only explanation I can think of is electrolysis  :S  So, I've been looking into new powerheads, watching video reviews, etc.  I found a series from BRS on flow dynamics, and the Maxspect gyre seems by far the best value for money, so I've gone ahead and bought one today.  I'll be setting it up later.

Beautiful tank, let us know how you get on with the gyre. I got hold of two mp40's for my tank but the gyre;s look great for flow (especially for a bb tank)

Thanks:

Well, I think the Chromis were misidentified.  I'm pretty sure they are Chromis Nigrura, not Vanderbilt.

This is Chromis Nigrura:

This is Chromis Vanderbilt:
Vanderbuilt Chromis

There seems to be very little info about C.Nigrura out there.  I read on one page that they're very similar, other than colouration.  Not sure if that includes temperament or not.  Keeping my finger crossed!

List two Chromis.  One (male I think) was being very territorial, constantly chasing anything that came near.  I've removed him, and put it in my now  empty coral/invert quarantine tank.  If things settle down, I'll take him back to the shop.
