The YTs had a bit of ammonia showing on the ammonia alert after 24hrs, so I topped up the tank (doubled the volume), and it's been clear since then.  All eating.  I intend to  add Chloroquine Phosphate today, and start the 30 days QT period.

I put my hand in front of my frag tank to plug in my laptop, and heard a noise which I didn't think much of.  I sat down, look over and noticed one of the conch had knocked over my SPS, so walked around, reached in and stood it up.  As I stepped back, I felt something under my foot and jumped off it (didn't have a clue what I was standing on).  Turned out to be my six line wrasse!  I quickly scooped it up and chucked it back in.  It floated about looking dead, but after about 30 seconds came around a bit, then hid.  Seems ok now.  I'm amazed - fingers crossed it stays that way.

The blenny is eating spirinula and standard flake   I had concerns about getting a blenny as the one I had a few years ago didn't eat prepared foods and starved.

They will look good when they go in the dt.
My qt has crashed, it keeps getting ammonia spikes, one day it's ok then the next it registers on the alert.
I think it's down to the extended use of meds.
I may have to strip it and recycle it.

Amazingly, the wrasse is still alive.

@Asco1104 I've always loved how a group of YTs look in a tank.  They're just so bright!.

Have you used anything other than CP in the QT?

No only cp, I only had 3 anthias and the regal angel in there, I wasn't feeding heavily and the alert kept registering ammonia, so I double checked it and it did have a spike.

Mixed news...

I gave my 5 yellow tangs a 6 hour bath in Sera Tremazol yesterday with the intention of transferring them to my DT straight afterwards.  However, somewhere between 4-6 hours there was a bacteria bloom and when I came to check them, and do the transfer, the water was coudy and they were in a right state.  I dumped them back in the QT, and 1 was clearly dead.  Another was floating about with no control, but still breathing.  This morning, all four were moving about, but by this afternoon, another had died.  I decided that as they had been treated for everything imaginable during the QT period, I was safe to add the remaining ones to the DT, and hope that the better water quality (hoping so at least) would be a better place for them.  It looks like one of them has picked up a bacterial infection (two cloudy eyes, and it's colour is pale), which I assume was down to the bloom in the bucket yesterday.  I plan to leave it alone, and hope it recovers, but I could dip it in a day or two if there's no sign of recovery (I think that would just be too much to try at the moment).

Down to two  :(  These two seem fine so far though.  Will have to keep a close eye.  Next is to do a 100% water change on the QT, and move the sixline wrasse and blenny over and start their treatment.

Sorry to hear that m8 must be gutting .   Mine have a couple of spots on them but that may have bèen stress spots from the bickering when first added so I,m just feeding them well and hopefully they will be ok . My regal was the first to get it just the odd tiny spot so I will keep a watch . All are fat and lively

I'm pleased there's very little arguing amonst them and the kole that was already in there.  I was concerned as they're from the same wider branch of tangs.  All going well so far.

Gutted about the tangs, do you think it was too many in too small a volume of water during the bath that caused the bloom?

The Sera Tremazol does say it can go cloudy and if it does, do a huge water change immediately.  It doesn't say what causes it, and I can't find anything on it.  I guess I just need to be checking more regularly in future - expessive (to my wallet, and to their lives) lesson learned  :'(

Not sure about adding more.  I don't want to cause a huge fight amongst them.  Might get something different instead.  I don't want anything that will outgrow my tank, so I want the smaller tangs ideally.

Been the the lfs today.  Replaced the sixline wrasse.  Got some egg crate to cover the QT, so hopefully no more jumping issues.  Oh, and I got a tiny one of these as my show fish  *D
