What's the sense of keep corals in the dark?

- When you turn on the light you get a color explosion
- this is the most energy efficient (cheapest)   reeftank to maintain (once you managed the technique to keep them alive).

Are they all NPS? Is that a Dendro or a Chilli coral at the front?

Really nice, didn't realise they could take that much flow.  I was always scared of ripping mine.

No problem at all. as  long as it's alternating flow.

That is stunning, you must be SO proud!

I can’t help but think of the wild coral reefs that are bleaching yet we manage to maintain these in our own homes.

A sad thought sorry. Makes me think if only there were something we could do?

It has been quite a while since the last posting.
Inspiration during summer was always low due to my other many many hobby's

sump update:

After i removed all equipment from the sump, because these are not required anymore in todays new dosingsystems, it was a useless container which only required extra maintenance. Now i found a usefull application of the sump. Make a bypass on the MRP and place a light on it an turn it into a fragtank.

Test
(been fixing some errors that flood the error log.)

@ajm83 Fixed a lot of the quick ones like trying to access null array keys, but there's a lot of deprecated create_function uses that need to be turned into closures. Will do bits when I get some time, but the logs are about 1000x quieter now. It was getting hundreds of entries a minute, now it's down to several a minute.

This is the frag700reef

There is some crazy growth of the green acropora formosa.
I can't keep up with prunning. Every time i cut 1 head i get 2-3 in return.
