Some incredible pictures of the frag700reef.
The camera can't capture the real beauty of the moment.

This why we love reefing. Such great diversity of live.
How many fish and coral species do you count?

Hi there,

I am GlennF and some know me already and some don't.

anyhow i started this thread to introduce my tank properly in here.

It measure 250 x 80 x 70 cm and the water height is 60cm.
The display is 1200 liters.
Including the other connecting tanks the water mass is about 1650 liters

this is a FTS of the front

This picture was taken on november 2013
That picture looks stunning

Exciting!
With the frag700reef I finally have the confidence in fullLED to get the last 8x T5 tubes out.
Replaced 8x54 watt T5 for 4x54 watt LED strips
There were already 7x54watt LED strips in it, now the total is 11x54watt.

The total power consumption goes from 950 watts to 750 watts

I am not completely satisfied yet, but that will be because the corals still has to adjust to the new lighting. In the near future I will be playing with different color combinations to get the most out of this reef.

Looks nice,  what LEDs are they? Are they drop-in T5 replacements?

Today a small part of the reef was pruned.  This was essential to keep the reef healthy.
Afterwards it's hardly visible that it has been pruned.
In the meantime, 15 buckets with 200 decent sized "ECOFrags" have been made and brought to the LFS.
