So yesterday I upgraded my return pump from a jecod DCS 5000 to the new DCP 8000 , its a little quieter than the previous model with less of the DC whine , and the extra lph have made all the difference with my reactors Tee'd off of it and getting better flow through the DT and sump .
I also added another Acan and a blue star damsel both settling in well .
I've also changed over my reactor media to phosbond which is an aluminium oxide and GFO mix , so will post at a later date how this goes .
I've also switched to aquaforest reef salt today with a water change , it mixed very quick and nice and clear .

Thanks for the pics.  Corals looking really healthy.  Be interesting to see how PhosBond works out.  They tend to be one or the other, not seen a mix I don't think.

Thanks:

Your welcome , thank you , I think the phosbond is a relatively new product , even LFS is quite interested in how this goes , I'll post in a few weeks my findings .

I've eventually been able to pick up a male Leopard wrasse today , my current female looked quite interested and vice versa until my bristle tooth tang chased them off , with the male going into the sand bed , hopefully some pics to follow once he returns , the wait is on  .....
Also a pic of the 2nd Acan I added a few days ago

Also I've now managed to get a pic of my slowly recovering branching Monti from beyond my aiptasia garden , slowly getting there with the aips using Joe's juice .

@fr499y , I think it's a male :D , but seriously it's been recovering well , there's quite a few polyps that can't be seen down behind what is there

I'm not sure if anyone noticed the small furry crab in the middle of this coral , but it appears not to be a helpful symbiotic crab , it is eating the polyps on my birdsnests!!! ,  :offended: , I'll add a better pic to the ID section once I catch the little bugger .
I've found another pic of one online , it's one of these ....
