Love Marine, my local LFS has the EA 1500s as a display tank. That's identical except being 30cm longer.

That's in Farnborough, Hampshire though.

Here's my sump. Containing a 7" filter sock, 5kg of Marine pure biomedia, a carbon reactor, a Marine Sources rdc 850 Skimmer, A Vertex Zeovit Reactor, 300w titanium heater, TMC auto top up and Jecod Dct 7000 return pump :)

Thanks - that sump looks like it has a lot more space than the Red Sea.  Farnborough's not too bad for us - might try and get over there at the weekend if I can't find one nearer.  Thanks

Yeah I like the 25l inbuilt top up chamber too.

Be aware that with the EA Reef you will want to ditch their pipework and use 2 Ocean Life overflows. This will add around £200 to the cost of the tank.
Luckily I had one from my previous tank which lessened the blow.

Thanks:

Hi Sam I live in Camberley and Ollie recommend love marine in north camp to me and it is very good and reasonably priced aswell. Also have you made a trip to mha in Windsor, they have a amazing selection of corals and fish :)

@Asco1104  There used to be an MHA in Weybridge at the Wyevale garden centre, not sure if it is still there though. I haven't been to the one in Windsor, I spent 5 years at Royal Holloway University so I am somewhat surprised I never did haha.  MHA were okay but not amazing when I had my freshwater tank and Terrapins. The good thing with them is there places are quite large, so easily accessible for a wheelchair user like myself. How easy do you think Love Marine would be to get around for a wheelchair user?

I'm not sure about the front door but the main frag tanks are out the back so you have to go down a step then up a step so not so easy :(
I highly recommend Windsor you really won't be disappointed I'm of there on the weekend, there on fb have a peak.

Hi @Sam Cunningham

Malcolm, the owner of Love Marine will be accommodating for your needs.
He is somewhat limited with the building he has, but I'm sure he will find a way round any access issues.

I'm going there tomorrow so if you are looking for anything particular i can take some photos for you.

@olyoz Currently finishing my exams (final one is tomorrow!). I will be purchasing my Red Sea E-Max in a week or two, then I will slowly start to go to local shops to get an idea of what stock they have before plan my ideas fully.

Even my hermit crab has now been decorated with Nerite Snail eggs (even though I have never bought one - must have been given one (or two) instead of a turbo snail.  Hope he likes his new bling!  lol
