That's crap mate hopefully they will arrive shortly, it will be well worth it once it's all connected, I'd like a better light myself as I'm just running the stock led that comes with my tank, unfortunately my other half gets a headache from how bright the lights are when they are mounted high above the tank with an open lid so I'd need something that would fit into my original lid if that's even possible, I don't know that much about aquarium lighting yet

I know these work but they are rather costly

That does look a good light but yeah a little out of my budget for this tank, tbh I think the stock light will do me on it as I only ever intended to keep softies in it anyway, I have put quite a lot on this wee tank for what it is so don't want to go too crazy lol I'd rather wait until I l get a bigger tank and then do that rather than spending a fortune on stuff that will only work for a nano, it is a nice light though, thanks for sharing

To be fair most people I know use the EVO as a frag tank lol. Seen that light over a few of them. I get what you mean the two lights I just purchased should future proof me on tanks unless I go mad on the upgrade size (in which case I'd get another A80 and daisy chain them)

I'm also playing with some 50/50 LED strips, will let you know how that turns out (£15 DIY upgrades for aquariums with fitted lids)

The led strip lights sound like a nice little upgrade possibly, I hope they work well for you, that coral on the bottom picture is gorgeous, is it a zoa?

Thanks:
