Hi guys,
Thank god for that ,I've been waiting now since my birthday on 4 th August to do my new marine tank, but before I could do the tank I had some decorating to do,which then turned into removing the old radiator and buying and fitting a new upright radiator (which the new one had a defect so had to take that back for a replacement)which then turned into replace the skirting ,so you know what ....bollox... lol  fingers crossed that's all done I can now enjoy the long awaited setup of my new tank..  lol
The moral of this story is never agree to do a little bit of decorating to keep the other half happy so you can have a new tank. Just go out and buy it and set it up and then say sorry I've got to cycle the tank first might take a couple of months. lol lol 8D

The idea is to have the corals and anemone and rock all set up roughly in the middle spanning about 3/4 of the length of the tank,so when you walk through the door you will be able to see both sides all the way down the tank from a side view, plus easier to clean like that and gives better flow and fish can use the whole tank and be seen instead of just the usual front view, probably try to set it up as a reef tank and source some nice bright colour coral and anemone with some shrimps, got to have a pair of clowns goes without saying that one,had good success before with the blue cheek gobies so probably have them, clean up crew obviously but what I did with my hermits last time round was painted the shells different colours so when they chop and change there's a bit of colour moving around,oh and I'm going to have a go at a piece of floating rock and see if I can stick a small anemone or something to it to add a bit of wow factor.
That's the plan anyway .
Sorry it's a bit of a essay to read . lol 8D

Hopefully I will get a chance on Sunday to make a start on it ,
If I wait any longer I'll need a shrink because I'll start seeing fish and stuff in there and it's empty it will be a mirage fish tank,
The desert has mirages in them for water,
I'll be having one in my living room for me tank,
Least I got some dust to look at ,wonder what dust eats,  lol 8D

It's here, the time has arrived,I'm all excited,I'm going to clean the new substrate today and fill the tank with water ,
Woke up at 5 am ready to start then see it was just a little bit to early, lol
I couldn't get back to sleep ,been clock watching,
Why is it when you clock watch time drags so slow yet when on holiday time flies so quick  :'(
So I'll take a picture now and then when sand is in and then when water is in ,feel like a little kid again  lol lol

Well here we go
Yyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssss,
No more dust to feed and imaginary fish to look at, lol lol

The sand is in ,it's been washed with tap water but soaked for about 2 hours in salted ro water,
Picking up 180 litres of salwater this afternoon from lfs,
Sand needs a bit of raking out might even take a bit out but the main thing is I'll be up and running tonight by about 6 pm.

The water has cleared now so thrown a couple of things in for now, probably rearrange them when get couple more but it will do for now, pics not brilliant but will do for now, hopefully have me floating rock in the tank in a few days so when I put that in will take another.
Just got to be patient now play the old waiting game till the water test says otherwise, will test it at weekend see where I am ,

side view ,this is what I'm going for ,once I've put stuff in you will be able to view both sides of the tank full length, obviously be a bit wider in the middle when I add corals etc but by keeping it in the middle you get another dimension to view,
Should look good when I've finished anyway.thats the plan.
