Theres not much rock there. Given it's a big part of your filtration for a marine tank, are you planning to keep the stocking levels really low?

Hi Dave,

Not as much movement as I suspected, you having any wave makers??

I think the difficulty maybe getting the anemone to settle on the rock, as you know they settle where they want lol!

The other day I wondered how it would work then I remembered I had a Small Hermit Crab walking around with a fully inflated Kenya Tree in its back!! So motion didn’t bother that soft coral!

Good luck with the project, always good to look outside the box, as you’ve said before you’ve been told you can’t in the past and have done!

Look forward to further updates

Al

Yeah will have a few more bits of rock to add,not floating ones though ,if I turn the outlet on the power head slightly I get more movement but don't want to much movement, bit of tweaking here and there to get it spot on but gives you all a rough idea at the moment,
Going to look at different anemone and coral that I can permanently fix with glue, all ideas welcome,
Did say I like a challenge,
Dave

You cant glue an anemone.  It's like a snail. It has a foot that grips the rock, but they can just decide to go for a walk, or let go!

Green star polyp would be a good shout.

Xenia

- You would be able to glue GSP mat to side of rocks as well, giving you overall coverage

It's good to have other people's input and ideas they're always welcome, sometimes it needs someone looking at it differently to point things out
