I think so,  great little guys.

My tank is doing well apart from hair or turf algae all over the substrate.  🙄

Think it's from when I kept the phosphate really high for a couple of months to get rid of dinos.  From what I understand the phosphate binds to the rock/sand when the level is high, then releases it when the phosphate level in the water is low.

If anyone knows any easy way to sort it I'm all ears 👂!

What if you were to keep vacuuming and stirring up the substrate?

Problem is it's got like roots through the sand,  so it pulls out massive chunks of algae and sand at a time and clogs the syphon.

Kind thinking I might go proper hard core on it -  net a load and soak it in some bleach or peroxide for a few days. See how it likes them apples.

I'm doing a two pronged attack on the algae,  pulling netfulls out and dumping it in bleach, and picked up one of these little guys to have a crack at it

I bought another one today because my tube nem had the first one. It got stuck on its shell and I saw the nem's tentacles going at it. Flipped him over but it was too late, the hermits spent a couple days picking him apart. But up until then he was great!

They literally are I swear!
I would’ve only got one but two were sharing the same tube. Tempted to rehome one tbh

Some of my frags are finally starting to send up new branches instead of just basing out.
