1st set of test results of the year since stopping dosing calcium and alkalinity, also took phos reactor out also.
Dosing 2 ml of nopox daily , running Clarisea filter roller and deltec sc1456 with a co2 air scrubber attached, lighting is 3 X hydra 26hd's and 3 X mp10qd.
Carried out 50 litres water change using red sea coral pro salt yesterday.
Alk-9.85-hanna tester
Clacium-409-hanna tester
Phosphate- 0.04-hanna tester
Nitrate- 25-Nyos test kit
Magnesium- need new test as current one out of date.
I am dosing calcium to bring this up to 420.
All I will be trying to keep this between 9-10(salt mixes roughly to this)
Phosphate- aim to keep this between 0.02-0.04
Nitrate- has always say around the 25 mark on the rare occasion I have had it low as 5 but find corals lose colour plus have clown tang, mimic tang and sailfin tang which are messy fish also.
Will test again in roughly 2-3 days to see how much results have changed and to get a idea how often I will need to do a water change.
Have also added quite a few pics of livestock😁
