Hi I have 2 peppermints and wanted to get a standard cleaner shrimp too. Do they get along okay in your experience if I get one the same size?

I have wanted to do this (but the other way around). My understanding is that they should be fine in a big tank where they each get plenty of room but if there isn't 'enough' room it could be a problem

Thanks:

Think you might be ok there , lysmatta shrimp (cleaner shrimp ) are pretty friendly chaps , if I put my hand in the tank my two used crawl all over my hand and submerged arm , funny little buggers .
Blood shrimp which are the red with white dots on maybe not a good idea ,

I've got one of each and have no problems with them, they stay pretty close together on the rocks.

I had both together and was ok for a while then there was carnage , blood shrimp (fire shrimp ) had a go at the cleaner and then there was one ,
Guess it's like most things in marine , sometimes it works sometimes it don't ,
