Red or blue finger starfish

I'm reading up these as I'd like one, has anyone had much success with these? My SSSF is still going strong, from what I can gather, no one is really sure what they eat and survival rate is pretty low?
There's a fine line between success and failure like there's a difference between surviving and thriving and we are all striving for a thriving success.

I don't know of anyone who's kept one long term.  Know of plenty who had had them die.  I'd leave it if I were you.

I tried a red but it died yet my sand sifter been going a year and  half.

also tried one, didn't last that long tbf. Couple months and then for no reason ( well ovc a reason.. ) just snuffed it.

Think ill pass, seems they do have a low survival rate.
