Hi guys,

Not sure if this is the right area to post this.

My firefish, Jeff (Goldblum), has been out of sorts recently.  He isn't eating and just sits under one of the ledges leaning on the rock (actually resting on it in a way). If he isn't there, he pushes himself into the sand in a corner. He doesn't swim around much at all, but does use his fins to push himself downards into the sand or rockwork. Really at a loss as to what is up with him, any advice is much appreciated.

Both my clowns are perfectly happy and are eating plenty, swimming about and loving life. Snails/shrimp/coral are also good, so I don't think it is a water quality issue?

My fire fish did this for a while but used to sit in one corner or hide in a particular rock.  I wasn't sure what was up until I noticed he was being picked on by the dottyback and had his fins nipped. Unfortunately I lost him about a month later. Is it possible he's being picked on

I only have two clowns and they have zero interest in him.  :/

Does he look healthy  ?  Full shape , especially around gut area , fins intact , not breathing excessively rapidly ?

He looked healthy, a bit thin but he hadn't eaten in a few days. Sadly, I came home from work to find him afloat...

RIP Jeff
