I have 1 cleaner skunk , lysmatta , striped , shrimp , whatever you want to call it ,
Would it be ok to add a blood shrimp into the mix or do you think it would be carnage .
Is it best to stick to same species ,

I had one of each and they were fine! They have quite different behaviours. The cleaner shrimp being out and confident all the time, and the fire shrimp being shy and more nocturnal.
The only thing is I haven’t seen the blood shrimp in a couple of weeks. I dont know what’s going on but i think the hot weather may be the cause. Will be interesting though if other people had the same thing and own both types.

I did try try this once , few years back when I had my 6ft wall tank , I had 2 of each in there then all I had left after about 3 weeks was 2 blood/fire shrimp .
Was thinking of trying 1 of each this time ,
Last time might of been because of a territorial battle , thought I’d ask how others got on .
My blood shrimp were opposite, out all the time ,
I’ve got a picture in my photos of them if you want to see them .
