I noticed this bubble coming from my torch coral.  I heard it was due to it preparing to split. It had one head when I got it. It has four now and I never noticed this bubble before.  Does anyone know if that's true or do I have something else going on here?

It can also be a feeding response :)

I responded on another thread I think....

It's common in euphylia corals when they split.

Is splitting a good thing or something they just do at some point or is it a sign they aren't happy or tank parameters aren't right?

Splitting is GOOD!  It means the head is splitting in half, and will then proceed to grow into two heads.  It's one of many ways corals grow.
