Hi everyone , I was looking at my Goniopora last night when the lights were on the last few minutes of blue before switch off and noticed a worm type thing , I wasn't sure what it was . Today I've had a better look and there appears to be a white thin ribbed worm a couple of inches long living on the body of the Goniopora , I've had a quick browse online and found Goniopora can have symbiotic worms but there doesn't seem to be much info I can find related to them . Has anyone else had any experience of these ?

Thanks Marty , I'll leave it be then , the more creatures that can take care of janitorial duties the better really . I first spotted it as my boxer shrimp appeared to be having a go at the coral , and I seen the worm on further inspection so the shrimp may have been going for that . I moved the Goniopora further away from the boxer shrimps cave so it doesn't bother it .

Thanks:

Puts a whole new meaning on hitchhiker , .... I think I may have spooked the worm while in feeding the Goniopora and a few minutes later I found it on the back of one of my nassarius snails
