OK its sorted, with luck the units may well be in next week ,if not a little later....Ive gone with the Evergrow pro , 120 deg ends 90 deg middles and lengths . The only real query was the length of the unit , and as the Guisemann, which was a 2x250w halide and 4xT5`s  lighted it as the picture below shows , i feel this unit will be fine  .

The rocks as you know are arranged acordingly. Never can get the whole tank in as the room isnt wide enough....in the second pic u can see one of the baby banghi`s below the nem, drop off of light doesent look so start in reality .

I think you may find the IT unit will light the tank up at the ends better......can't wait to see them on your tank Carol. Just remember to ramp them up slightly every week by 5% from a 30-40% starting point.

Mark has a settings calculator on his site but if you can't find it I will send it over to you.

Thanks:

Again Carl i am indebted to you

I have begun to understand by doing a bit of reading you just dont hang them up and turn them on . Parameters are returning to normal ,ive got mag and calcium and KH back to where they need to be for a coral tank and nitrate is coming down, its about 10ppm now but normally you cant detect it .

Ive also ordered all new kits to test , normaly mine run out in 3 months  , but these have  had a good run so its time for them to be replaced.

I just found i havent go a thermometer in there  :O  so a new digital has been ordered.

Sent Carol and here's the link to his FB page if anyone else wants them. https://www.facebook.com/groups/ukmarinelighting/files/

Mark seems a top bloke and I'm sure he wouldn't mind people using them for his products.

I will try and find one also that you input the Max % of light you want and the hours you want and it calculates it for you.....supposedly. But I cannot use excell like I used to and get totally cafuffelled lol
