Jebus no never lol.....I think its a male thing tho to keep fiddling with something thats fine ..back the right way now thank fck...all this because hes trying to avoid either reformatting  the hard drive or reloading windows, and this is only because he interfered with it  and the wireless dongle  isnt responding as quickly as it should on boot up.

Yesterday he lost my connection to the Sky box bloody fiddling   Then he put the wrong modem  SSID in  and wondered why it wouldnt work .

I have a sneeking suspicion that the Hobgoblin  he starts on before he gets near this desktop might have something to do with the rapid drop in IQ ........

Dont get me wrong i have a lovely husband , i would just like to shoot him from time to time   :O :undecided:

Cans are a deffo No No.....for myself at home it has to be Peroni (Bearing in mind I'm a cask ale man) but for guests it's Budweiser.

I like things like Wainwrights, Bombardier, Wells IPA and Lancaster Bomber. But not out of a bottle!

Ok coming back on topic and yes im the one that wandered     it would seem that Mark is doing some work on the website  and that both types of this light are still available ,the difference i can spot is an integral tank mount rather than a hanging mount  ,and less LED`s in the V2 version .

The one i originaly looked at remains the same with a top wire hanging mount  and 102  3w bridgelux LED`s  ....sp back to square one,i think most likely i will go for the original but hopefully will get to speak to him over when its back in stock and the difference he feels there is between the two units eg the Ledzeal and the Proreef .

Nasty blue screen for my Lord Horse (they call him Horse at work ) it says , you may need to reset your C Moss settings  if you see this screen again.....i feel left out all ive ever got is Bad Pool Header .....its the price you pay for having an overclocked weasel on amphetamines and crack cocaine for a desktop .....

I have an over clocked i5 2.66GHz machine running @ 4.2GHz and touch wood never a bad thing and running nice and cool even when I used to game on it.

As for the LED side of things I can only comment on my Evergrows and before I purchased them I had heard fantastic things about them. I tried to purchase the Ledzeals directly from Alibaba as I recall them being £150'ish + £30-£40 postage for the S300 direct, but Mark had just become a dealer in the UK for them so would no longer sell them direct to me.

Aesthetically the LZ's look better but the thing that lets them down is the remote and wireless connector for me.

Yeah the remote could look better , but if its a better light i can put up with that , its the noise of the fans and the  120deg optics that bother me.

Well i know its i7  quad core  and we bought the mother board the graphics cards and ram etc from Overclockers so it was preclocked and theres a file in  there with all the parameters . Its got 2 G force  graphics cards running Sli  , we had a spec sheet when it was all delivered but fck knows where it is now and thats about all i can remember .

Garry fiddles ceaselessly  with the PC , it used to double boot as aparently this was a feature of the overclocking , it does not do that now , it thinks its overclocked but A isnt seeing B for some reason  .....

He realy doesent know his software and i certainly dont which is why i leave it alone . Still it keeps him out of mischief rather like a Monkey  with a bannana

Mine has never double booted. I know some are OC'd by both the MB and software and sometimes if one crashes it screws up the other. I personally would reset both to factory and then start to OC them so they are synced.

I would also google OC'ing the MB and Processor as this will show you an easy way to do it.

It'd double boot? If you mean duel booting, that's just running multiple operating systems on one machine, but they can only be run separately. You choose which OS to boot at the bootloader. So you might have Windows 7 and Ubuntu, and choose between them, maybe with a default. Running multiple OSs at the same time is done by first booting into one OS, then running virtualisation, a virtual computer, running on the host computer to run the separate OS.

If you've got troubles like you describe, the overclock seems to have been unstable. This happens over time when a machine is heavily overclocked as when the fans clog up, they overheat, as there's no overhead for taking extra heat anymore.

That leads to the OS becoming corrupted as overclocked CPUs can make mistakes (triggering the BSOD), which can screw the system up if it doesn't crash gracefully, as things can be written to disc corrupted, etc.

I'd just clock it down to stock speeds and reinstall an OS. You could try slowly raising the clocks again afterwards, but I wouldn't go as high as it has been, as it can't handle it anymore.

I will show that to Garry thank you. I queried the double boot ,(phoned Overclockers) well maybe thats the wrong description as it started eg fans came on , then off then on again it didnt load then reload after the  black and white screens went by . Yes its Win 7 .

He actualy gets the hose from the garage compressor and blows it out from time to time. I think one of the main probs is that at  the initial reinstall and im not sure how deep he went , he didnt partition the  new copy of windows properly . Hes great with hardware and diagnostics on it , but never realy had to learn software as in those days  they were both seperate disiplines . Now a 5 year old knows more than he or i do on software.

Deff some corruption in there ,and im the first to admit i havent a clue .Last case we had was water cooled this ones a Cooler Master and its just a ruddy great  stainless steel case , the old case wasnt big enough.  Been thru 3 PSU`s  this one is about  1,100 watt ,seems to cope so far.

I think "Unstable"  is very suitable when talking about anything in this house  :O
