I've tried quoting Mikes post and all my text is in weird brackets,

Fixed. The WYSIWYG editor is causing some issues, I'mma turn it off for now until I can refine or replace it!  :lipsrsealed:

Thanks Mike.

The Evergrow seems like good light, again the price is inviting and 3 channels over 48 time periods as far as I understand is great. What I don't know is what brand of LED they use. I know Razors have CREEs. The fact that they're bulky doesn't bother me as I look at the tank not at the light . The fans, everyone with bit of electronics knowledge could change themselves if not bothered about waranty.

CREE and Bridgelux are the two main well known LED chip brands.

A few pics for you all.
It's the IT2120 led unit from ukmarine lighting http://www.ukmarinelighting.co.uk//evergrow-it2120-proreef-marine-aquarium-dimmable-led-unit-207-p.asp with the same led configuration as James's.

They do look good, I'd never get away with a hanging kit though!
I have a remote on mine, just keep it away from the kids.
I should really sort this out!!

I agree I'd have to make a brace for them
