Bought  some of this before Christmas,so far only used in Discus tank as I had only recently changed that in the marines. Whilst it is difficult to measure stuff like this I personaly feel that the tank looks better. On my daily water changes the water of course is still stained to an extent as there is a lot of bogwood in the tank. It does appear a little less so with this carbon, but it might be imagination?

Anyway water looks clearer .

To conclude with useage so far id be happy to reccomend this carbon to anyone  :D

Ah not my imagination then? Its a very good price too. I got the bigger amount which was several of the smaller boxes. I felt it was a bargain.

Isn't it 5L? 5KG of carbon would be a bin bag full!

I've not read the whole thread, but I had the bucket of iQuatics carbon, it was good stuff, nothing bad to say about it to be honest compared to other carbons.

Oh right, that's not the same as what I got then, mine was a small white bucket, about the same price though. Not sure now what mass or volume it was.  :damn:

EDIT: That's why I'm talking absolute rubbish it was the RowaCarbon I had.  lol Yeah, good stuff and I suppose a complement to iQuatics that I muddled the two up.  :heyyy:
