Welcome, I don't know if it's the photo, but I see you've got TMV V2 Illuminaire lights same as I have, it does look like you've dialled in some red, I've got mine virtually at zero, I did canvass opion on whether it's needed and I was told not.
I think the tanks look better without any significant red portion.
Yes I have the same ones, I didn’t have any red on but I recently changed the lighting intensity and added a little red to see what it was like, tbh I am trial and error with the lighting at the mo as I have some green hair algae I am trying to get shot of

I don’t really see my mandarin eat, but he is continually going round the tank and picking rocks. He doesn’t show interest when I feed, but have read that lobster eggs may work so thought I would add these

You could try partitioning a section of your return compartment with egg crate? Can add a sponge or so as a pod hotel?

Thanks, I will give the eggs a try although I haven’t seen them in my LFS before but I will check. I may give the sponge idea a try although I haven’t researched keeping them etc and what I would need but I will do this, thanks

As a rule the girls do better than the boys, if you buy one with a nice fat tummy generally they have been taking fresh frozen, mysis or something. You can use a long pippette to drop it in front of it,that sometimes helps. Plus you can buy live copepods quite cheaply. Yes something is rattling around in my head about Lobster eggs, if it works for one odds on it will for another 😀

Thanks:

If you don’t me asking what are the settings you have your lights set to on each phase?
