How do you target feed corals in a deep tank?

I don't want to put my arm in the tank with a turkey baster, so looking for a much longer version, or is there another way?

I tried all sorts of long turkey basters, and used to have a length of airline on a turkey baster, but the airline is then floppy and I'd have needed some thin clear acrylic tube.

You could makeshift one if you bought some clear acrylic tubing, and then some airline, etc but eventually I just splashed some cash and bought a "Julian's Thing". They're ludicrously expensive at about £27 but it's perfect for it, so to save fuss, I just conceded and bought it.

I'm thinking about ordering one of these:

from ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Target-feeder-Pro-long-reach-frag-reef-marine-phyto-Coral-sps-lps-fish-Anemone-/170979440966?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Fish&var=470231421611&hash=item27cf2b3946

(when they come back into stock)

Has anyone got one?  Will mysis fit through the tip?  It suggests that without the extension it should be ok.  With the tip, it should be good for fine foods, but I'm hoping I can get away with firing mysis at my corals without having to put my hand in the tank.

The problem with that type is precision. As when you're squeezing the ball, the end tends to move from where you pointed it. So you end up having to hold it still with one hand and squeeze the ball with the other, which reduces it's reach as you can't then reach as far with both arms as you can with one.

Mysis will fit trough the end if they're the small frozen variety but will frequently bunch up and jam, so you have to keep the mysis moving in the thing to stop it all falling down and clumping at the tip.

I bought one of the target feeders I mentioned above (they're cheap, so worth a shot I thought).  Just tried it today.  The mysis did fit through, but it was a squeeze.  However, as I could just squeeze the rubber ball and suck up some water, that unclogged it.  I was able to aim it reasonably well.  I did use two hands, but found holding it right at the top, with the other hand on the rubber ball, was enough.

The extension is just plastic, so it the clogging becomes an issue, I plan to just trim a little bit off to widen the tip.

Overall, quite pleased with it.

Oh, and I'm not just feeding mysis.  I feed mysis and brine with added supplements.
