Apologies for not knowing what this is called, I inherited the tank!

Yesterday the fuses in our kitchen blew and everything in the tank went off, this coral/anemone went totally flat and shrivelled up to the point that I could see it's foot(?) I also spotted a line of brown stuff (poo?) coming out of the centre at one point. It did eventually start perking up and today it was back to full size. I've just popped into the kitchen again and noticed it has gone all flat and sad looking.
Everything else is looking fine, I do know when the lights start getting dim everything seems to shrink down as I watched that happen 2 or 3 nights ago but everything else is still awake as it were.

Photos 1 & 2 show it at it's norm
3&4 are yesterday when it really shrank down
5&6 are tonight, it is bottom left in photo 6

Well it may just be sulking or it may have spat out some zoox which is a bit more serious.  Either way though, just do you best to keep the conditions stable and it should recover.

I'm not 100% on the ID so I'll leave that to somebody up on their nems/softies  8D

I’m pretty sure It’s a Giant Cup Mushroom also known as, Giant Disc Anemone, Giant Mushroom Anemone, or Giant Flower Coral.

thank you :) what is zoox?

Should I be feeding it, and the other non-fish in the tank in anyway? I am feeding the fish defrosted brine shrimp with spirulina some of which makes its way down toward the bottom of the tank

zoox is the special algae the coral grows inside itself so it can photosynthesize.  If the coral/anemone gets stressed sometimes it'll spit the zoox out, and go white (known as bleaching).  THey often recover perfectly so honestly even if it is that, don't panic.

As you say, it could have just been doing a poo  lol
