My ricordia coral appears to be moving, it was purchased on a rock but since adding it to the tank it appears to be sliding off the rock. It has also produced two smaller off shoots, which in guessing is a good thing?  Is this normal, and could it be trying to get to a brighter area? It is moving more under the light but deeper down.

Yes those new bits will grow into new ones  :D

Hard to say why it's moving, what lights/settings have you got?

I've got an AI hydra 64 HD over the centre of the tank, just running a basic programme at around 40% max.  The ricordia is prob in the outer area of the light output so it's not quite in the main beam area.

I didn't think it would move, but if that's normal then I won't worry about it.
