Oooo yes Firecrackers,Rainfords,Court jesters, neon gobies,Gobydons...list is endless its just finding a shop that stocks them, we had a thing called a coral creeper ,that was cute too.
Stay away from Catalyna gobies ,shops sell them but thier cool water fish.

Pygmayus ans hastartus as corys come to mind teeny tiny micro rasboras,Garry seems to think the shell dwellers were Rift lake beasties.

I kept a pair in an aqua medic chromis that was a 55cm cube. Discus i mean

Ooo habrocius ,thats spelt wrong lol but another tiny cory..
Those microrasbora galaxia ,we have had spawning and young coming on freely in a very tiny tank.same for the corys I mentioned. Now you probably know this but try to get plants with deff no snails as they devastate the eggs, get a chain loach which might eat the snails ,but it will deff eat the eggs.. >:(

How big is it again? Rams dont require much do u know how to sex them? I do if you dont .

Cory's are awesome however they do far better in larger groups and myself personally when I kept them going from having 5 to 20 made a massive difference in there behaviour.

With 5 quite shy and out and about now and then

with 20 like a bunch of headless chickens on speed all over the tank playing and enjoying each others company.

My personal opinion is if you can't house a decent size group of Cory's they will become depressed and you won't see just how great a fish they really are

here is a video and you can see some of them playing together at the back

Marty that is so bloody tru less than six and they cant hack it.

Spawning behaviour is interesting as the female grabs the boy by the vent ,we think she swallows it rather then  spits it on the eggs,it then passes thru to the purse that the female makes with her ventral fins to hold laid eggs.

You need a ratio of at least 3boys to a girl or they get shagged to death.

Poor little buggers.  Once thise big fat girlys let go they just sink to the bottom of the tank ,they do take a while to recover, but shes moved on to the next anyway.
 lol

Barbatus who used to be Corys actualy guard the eggs to an extent for a time, the boys fight each other with those cheek bristle patches.

The tank is an aqua one nano so only 50 litres.I'm trying to do it in a way that it's cheap to rum so probably put some wood in with some java Moss and a sprinkling of sand and use the light from the window.it will just have a sponge filter.
