Hi all I'm setting up a freshwater aquarium from my sister-in-law and she's chosen a massive tree stump bog-wood from the pet shop. the trouble is it's been in my pond for a month and it still won't sink. Is weighed down with bricks. I have jet washed it scolded it with the kettle but still no joy any ideas

We had a bit like that,we drilled a piece of slate or you can use brick, place the slate etc behind the bogwood and secure with black cableties to bogwood, you wont notice it once its planted. We have a piece years old and its so dense still it wont sink by itself.
Do not mock the snake because it has no horns. For who is to say that one day it may become a dragon,as one just man may become an army...Water Margin.
