Hello,

I bought a bag of caribsea black sand Hawaiian for my nano project and I wanted to show you what it look like, I haven't seen anyone making a comparison like this so I hope this will give you an idea.

I'm currently waiting for a ICP test and once I receive it I will publish the results with you :)

Just a personal feeling, but I would think a black sand bed would reflect no light at all and make the tank less bright?

Sort of, its a high contrast material so the colours will pop more. Like my black backed and barebottom, photographs looked like it was endless but the corals stood out fantastically
