So  I'm on holiday this week and the first day I've knocked this up so I can turn on and off my equipment for cleaning etc, all with the help of a DJ switch panel. I intend putting a dosing pump on the top of the box.

That's a good idea,  how's it wired up?  Is there just a bunch of plug sockets round the back of it?

In essence yes, but I didnt want to cut the wires and re wire , maybe making the guarantees useless so used these which can becstuck to the board

What wood did you use @Toper0  ?  I'm thinking of making something like this for mine, just a bit worried it might swell with the moisture

At the minute I have used MDF, plywood or moisture resistent MDF would probably be better but to be honest  for how long they take to knock up and the cost I'm not too worried if I have to replace. You could also place the switches outside of the cabinet dependant on where it is cited if you so wish.

Thanks:

Got one of these on my new build. Ive been thinking about it for a while and tbh its an excelent idea. My previous build had a consumer unit wired in and it was a crazy idea that was so ott that i wonder what i was thinking?
