Auto water change

Does anyone have any plans/howto’s for an auto water changer? I’ve seen one on the net and it  looks like a home made Jobbie.

reef float make one.  Doesn't look overly complicated to replicate.

simple buy an used return pump and hose & bucket or a longer hose to go out doors 10 mins work
