My Naso Tang colour morphs like this. Goes from his ordinary colours to when angry or excited to a total all over brown. Then if spooked he'll go black and has stark defined white polka dots.

I'll try to get a picture of it.

Probably this guy for me. Just for shear personality in the tank. Not necessarily the most interesting or cute personality, but just the constant displays of it.

Cracking fish Mike, there is something about tangs that have so much character. Can't wait to have a tank big enough to accommodate some.

The Naso tang has much more character! The way his colours morph when excited and he'll do a little dance at the front with his full task mask and lipstick on, then it fades away again when he calms down. It comes in short bursts though, the Yellow is constantly pursuing the tank. The Naso also likes to let the bigger Yellow tang think it's the boss. Actually, it's Naso, he's just not that fussed. Like a wise old colonel chuckling at a young recruit trying to gain the others' respect.

It's cute when little scuffles break out. If it's between the regal and the yellow it'll go on for a while, with the smaller regal backing down. If it's between the smallest tang which is the Naso and anything else, the other fish backs down very quickly. But the Naso rarely ever gets involved in fights and he's never the one to start it.

My mimic eibli tang.
I have been after one of these for the past two years!  Such a beautiful fish.

Not the best pic taken with my phone.

I would say my moorish idol but I lost him along with 5 other fish to a white spot outbreak in the holding tank

It is bad news about the Moorish, there's something about them fish. They're not the prettiest, but look so graceful and majestic.

Kind of like when a Rolls Royce goes past, they're not intrinsically "beautiful", but you're taken back by them.

At least you know you didn't loose it to malnutrition which is what kills most Moorishes.
