If it misbehaves send it my way I have a bunch of Tangs that will put it in its place haha and if really naughty a lionfish that will make it behave haha

I might have to take you up on that! We have grown to love our established little family in there and don't want something to disturb the peace

You could always stick him in a Trebuche or a Manganol and catapult him up there lmao...

So today I have my first ammonia spike since the cycle, I will do a 20% water change tonight - is this normal after adding a fish. I have been testing daily every morning and its been at a constant 0.00 but today at lunch it is showing 0.25 which has panicked me...

As in the thread, there has been a lot of dominance going on and I have been following the distraction feeding which is more regular than what I was doing.

Should I hold off, will the 0.25 go back to 0.00 in a few days with water changes?
This bloody damsel, really wish I had left things alone - all the bloody fighting yesterday and now the day I have dreaded, ammonia.

Actually, I think I might have made a terrible mistake - I used my pipette for filling the test tubes last night to spot feed some misis to some coral without cleaning it. That might be why as the reading is now showing 0.00.

What a plonker

No its not normal if it was correct ,but id not expect to see it unless you had dumped a massive amount if fish in all at once

Morning!

So a few days later, he doesn't seem to be bothering Pete my Royal Gamma anymore... but I did notice the gamma has a torn tail fin, so im wondering if they have been scrapping more.

But.... this damsel is more active than the Tasmanian devil, he literally darts around the place like no ones business and has now started to dig the sand like a JCB on overtime, he will go to the sand bed near the live rock and use his tail to start digging a hole to the point im worrried about the foundations... I have filled them in but then I look back and sand storm... guess who!

I got a little worried last night and the wife and I were looking online into this behaviour and found it matched anothe fish which actually seems to fit the bill of what ours looks like, called a Fiji Blue Devil... now from what we read on them it would mean I have a big issue...

I'll try and get a picture so perhaps you guys can ID him
