Although my algae and diatoms have reduced somewhat now the phosphate reading is still higher than I want and still reading 0.16 on the D and D kit. I wonder if this is why my gsp is sulking and not opening?
Tank been set up 4 weeks now, though it was a bit longer actually but filled it 5th March, trying to hold off with the first water change to be honest another week or two if can but dp you think it's better to do one this weekend? Ammonia and nitrite still 0 and Nitrate steady at 10.
I think it'd be worth you starting a tank thread, so any issues specifically about your setup can be looked at in one place. We'd be able to look at what size tank, sump, lights, etc. you have, any previous issues, etc. and start to form a picture.
High phosphate can irritate corals. Would want to know other levels, lighting details (type, wattage, schedule, etc.), etc. to get into it.
