My tank readings

Hello Everyone,my tank readings are

salinity 1.025
ph       8.2
po4  0.03
no3        2
mg.    1400 +
c.         380-400
kh.        9

My question is do i need to worry about my calcium level.Im using IO salt.My tank is a redsea nano with 2 bta's and zoa's with a duncan coral which is growing new heads.Im starting to get coraline algae and dose kalk in my top up water.I do a 20 litre water change every week.

Calcium is not critically low, but I would be inclined to aim for 450 if you are keeping the alk at 9.  Easiest way would be to add a little bit of calcium from a 2 part system from time to time, like Red Sea Foundation A for example.

Im going to be making my own solution of calcium.According to the bulk reef supply calculator,it says to go from 380 to 450 ill need to add 143 ml of the solution.Im guessing i cant do that all in one go.would i be better adding it over a few days ?

Always safer to do it in a few goes.  Especially if like in my case you cocked up the conversion from US gallons and ended up making it far stronger than it should have been. 😊

The calcium recipe is 400 grams of calcium chloride into 3 litres of RO water.That should last me a while.
