What is the pH ?

Are you using kalkwasser or dosing anything?

It could be your salt. Mix up some for a water change and test it before adding it to the tank. Some salts are high.

I have a seneye to tell me the ph
Ah, double check it against another test kit, my seneye pH reading is calibrated -0.3 to match my reference solutions (got those from eBay)

I would double check it as I do it your ph is that high without dosing anything, I’m not sure how reliable the seneye is as I’ve never used one.

At 8.6 I wouldn't worry too much as it will soon start to drop once the tank matures , anywhere Between 7.6 and 8.4 is great , but not as important as stability .
Have you also checked your Alk?
